HOW

I use acrylics, texture gels and collage on canvas or wood panels. I like to put paint on them...as much as removing and scratching it with a paint knife or other tools to create texture effects.

ABOUT DONELLA BOLDI

Heart and Brush, How to make your walls Talk

Who am I.

Settled in Belgium since 2006, I also lived in France and Japan. I just love to paint.

I get inspired by the world around me. Our planet, the people I meet, small details.

Positive energy for your home

Everything passes through my inner world to become color, texture and movement.

I like to capture special moments and strong feelings, to make them indelible. Discover my meaningful subjects and make them yours.

Be surrounded by beauty

During the 4 years spent in Tokyo, my imagination was captivated by the Japanese unique aesthetic.

With my acrylics on canvas or wood and a lot of passion, I want to catch the attention, stimulate reflection ... and decorate with originality.

My monkey has a story!

Yes, you may think that I am obsessed by these monkeys!

Indeed, this is one of my favorite subjects. I've already painted 3, and it probably won't be the last one. Why?

Actually, this monkey has a story: she is a breastfeeding mother. The baby’s head is hiding in the fur. More than 20 people are standing in front of her to capture the moment where the baby shows the pretty little face....but it will never happen! And nothing will trouble her.

Wild and free, but perfectly in harmony with human kind and urbanized environments, the Japanese macaques charmed me since my first trips around Japan. I had the chance to photograph them in March 2017.
